Jared Kushner is set to become a senior adviser to Electoral College President Elect (ECPR) Trump, to focus primarily on foreign policy.
The 36 year old was a very influential voice in the ECPE’s campaign and is said to be among the strongest, if not the strongest voice in the transition to the White House. Kushner has already met with British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson, Canadian ambassador to the U.S. David MacNaughton, among other diplomats.
Nepotism in the veins
How is it that a kid who runs his Father’s real estate company will come to have broad influence on US foreign policy? What makes him so qualified?
Maybe it’s his Dad’s company’s plan to redevelop a holding in Manhattan with Chinese investors. After all, it was genius accept a call from the Twain President before that of China’s while negotiating with Anbang Insurance Group, the Chinese financial conglomerate and Kushner project investor. Said,
Like Father-in-Law, like Son-in-Law
Or, perhaps it’s Kushner’s unbiased view of Israel, along with his Dad’s company deep connections in the country which obviously qualify him to lead the Middle East to peace. Connections? Dad’s company has multiple loans from Israel’s largest bank, Bank Hapoalim, which, by the way, is currently under investigation by the US Justice Department for helping wealthy Americans evade taxes and hide assets.
If you are not scared yet, you ought to be. Kushner seems to be working hand in glove with senior advisor to the ECPE, Steve Bannon. So far, and without a whiff of coherent foreign policy, these two have already managed to piss off a handful of countries, many longstanding US allies and disrupted decades of diplomatic protocol upon which international stability relies.
They have inflamed the Middle East with talk of moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. They orchestrated a millennial sized snub to the Chinese government with Tawain phonecallgate, who responded via their surrogate North Korea, with a veiled thread of a nuclear attack on the US and its allies. Said a North Korean Foreign Ministry Spokesman “The ICBM will be launched anytime and anywhere determined by the supreme headquarters .”.
Clearly, fixing the plumbing in Dad’s buildings or bossing about some journalists afraid to loose their jobs does not a foreign policy expert make. ECPE Trump’s reliance on Kushner, is indicative of the ECPE’s lack of judgement, love of nepotism, and deep distrust for expert, independent advice.
